Overview
It is with deep sadness that we’re writing these words. As everyone is no doubt aware by now, Lloyd Calcutt sadly lost his battle with Covid19 and passed suddenly in the morning of January 12th 2021. A son, a brother, an uncle, a stepson, a fellow football fan and a friend to so many people.
An extraordinary person - Kind, caring, fun, genuine and a heart of gold. His presence brought happiness to any room, the life and soul of any party. He lived life to the full and, as a result, many have shared some incredible, unforgettable memories with him. We’re lucky to have known him, privileged in fact, and many hearts have truly broken, now that he is no longer with us.
There has been an incredible outpouring of love for Lloyd from all across the town, county and country since the news broke - A real beating heart of the community and someone who will never be forgotten.
With the blessing of his mum Julie, I’ve decided to set up this page, where any money raised will be passed to Lloyd’s family, to put towards funeral costs and a memorial of their choosing. These are such challenging times, so it would be heart-warming to know that some of this has been funded by those who cared for Lloyd so much.
There is no pressure for you to contribute. But if you would like to and are able to, it would be a lovely gesture and one that is appreciated by all that knew him, no matter how big or small. Regardless of whether you contribute to this fund, please keep Lloyd in your thoughts, keep his memory alive, and score a goal or raise a glass, to this incredible, irreplaceable person, who was certainly taken too soon.
If you have any memories you’d like to share, then please write these in the comments.
Thank you.
